Academy scholars in Mumbai training camp
Monday 12th February 2018
A quintet of Kent Cricket Academy scholars have jetted out to India for some outdoor practice during the half-term holidays.
Wicketkeeper-batsmen Jordan Cox and Sam Smith, bowler Tom Davis and all-rounders Isaac Dilkes and Julian O’Riordan have joined their Essex counterparts in Mumbai for a week’s intensive training.
The boys will train with local youngsters and first class coaches at Bombay Gymkhana thanks to support from the Kent County Cricket Supporters Club.
During the nine-day trip, the boys will have net sessions and a range of matches across all formats of the game.
