ADR & Marsh hit 50s as Kent beat Notts
Alice Davidson-Richards and Laura Marsh hit unbeaten half-centuries as Kent defeated Nottinghamshire in the Royal London Women’s County Championship at Radlett.
The visitors restricted the hosts to 160-8 after being invited to field first before chasing the target with 10.2 overs and eight wickets to spare.

Overseas player Arlene Kelly was the pick of the attack with 2/22 off ten overs and a run-out with a wicket each for Megan Belt, Izzy Cloke, Davidson-Richards and Chelsey Rowson.
In reply, skipper Tammy Beaumont (30) gave Kent the perfect platform before a century stand by England team-mates Davidson-Richards (53*) and Laura Marsh.
Vice-captain Davidson-Richards’ patient 91-ball knock included just one boundary as she rotated the strike for her fifth one-day 50 with Marsh more fluent at the other end, striking five boundaries in her 51 off 67 balls to guide Kent home
It was Marsh’s seventh half-century in one-day cricket for Kent, her first for three years to help close the gap on leaders Hampshire who suffered their first loss of the season.
Other results: Lancashire (164) beat Somerset (60), Yorkshire (135-6) beat Hampshire (131).
Next up, Kent travel to Edgbaston Foundation Ground to play Warwickshire, whose match against Middlesex on Sunday was washed out by overnight rain.
World champions England play South Africa at The Spitfire Ground on Friday 15 June in a Royal London Women’s One-Day International.
