Ball takes five-for, Haggett and Rouse take wickets in South Africa

Adam Ball took five wickets as Claremont beat Avendale with a familiar face in the opposition in South Africa

Kent bowler Calum Haggett was in action for Avendale but could not prevent his side sliding to a three-wicket defeat in the Western Province First Division.

Ball took 5/31 in 10.4 overs to dismiss Avendale for 181 before his unbeaten 21 steered Claremont to victory.

Haggett picked up the scalp of opener Justin Haynes in a fine spell of 1/16 off eight overs.

New signing Adam Rouse took a wicket with his occasional spin as Cape Town beat Catalyst Victoria by two wickets.

Meanwhile, fast bowler David Griffiths continues his recovery from back surgery with warm weather training in South Africa.
