Canterbury Golf Club was designed by the legendary golf course architect Harry S Colt and opened for play in 1927.
Colt and his associates designed some of the most famous golf courses in the world including Wentworth, Royal Lytham, Muirfield, Sunningdale New and Royal Liverpool.
Several visitors to Canterbury Golf Club have commented on the many holes that appear to have been “plucked” from some of the great Colt course and dropped into the landscape at Canterbury.
Apart from minor changes to a couple of holes, Canterbury has changed very little from Colt’s original design, and over the years has matured into one of the top courses in the south east of England.
As a supporter of Kent Cricket, you can enjoy games of golf at Canterbury at discounted rates. You can buy a Players Card at the reduced rate of £49 (normally £69) which gives you up to 50% off full green fee rates for 12 months.
