Century stand helps Academy to Bexley win

An unbroken century stand from Joe Gordon and Charlie Russell-Vick helped Kent Academy to a fine four-wicket win against Bexley.

St Lawrence & Highland Court batsman Gordon and Tunbridge Wells all-rounder Russell-Vick hit unbeaten half-centuries following a fluent 50 by Tunbridge Wells opener Marcus O’Riordan, helped the Academy side chase down the target of 267.

The Mote seamer Ollie Hills was the pick of the bowlers with 3/43 with a wicket each for Sevenoaks bowler James Carslaw and Marcus O’Riordan.
