Champions aim to bounce back at Billingshurst
Alice Davidson-Richards will lead a 13-strong squad for Sunday’s double-header against Sussex and Surrey at Billingshurst.
The 23-year-old all-rounder from Tunbridge Wells skippers the side in the absence of opener Tammy Beaumont who is representing England alongside Laura Marsh at the Women’s World Cup.
After losing the opening pair of matches against Berkshire and Lancashire, the three-times winners will be targeting a return to form in West Sussex.
Head coach Lydia Greenway said: “If we keep working hard and playing with intensity, there is absolutely no reason why we can’t get back to winning ways.”
Kent squad: 19 Lottie Bryan, 17 Emily Thompson, 61 Grace Gibbs, 24 Alice Davidson-Richards (c), 32 Annabelle Richards, 10 Phoebe Franklin, 14 Lauren Griffiths (wk), 53 Tash Farrant, 91 Chelsey Rowson, 11 Megan Belt, 15 Jodie Hobson, 9 Izzy Cloke, 98 Rochelle Beeson.
