Charlotte Edwards hits century in WNCL

Charlotte Edwards started her stint in South Australia in style with a century for the Scorpions in the Women’s National Cricket League.
The Kent captain hit 100 in a high-scoring tie against Queensland Fire after scoring 35 in a one-run defeat to New South Wales Breakers.
In the opening match, NSW chased 216 to win with ten balls and a wicket to spare before Edwards’ 107-ball ton on Friday as both teams scored 267 in 50 overs.
Kent seamer Tash Farrant took 3/36 in ten overs on her Western Fury debut in a 25-run loss to ACT Meteors at the WACA in Perth.
Fury restricted the visitors to 195 for eight before being dismissed for 170 with Farrant scoring 12 off 26 balls.
