Club release Phil Edwards

Kent County Cricket Club is to release pace bowler Phil Edwards (pictured)with immediate effect.

Edwards, 26, made his List A debut for the county last season and was a second team regular during his time with Kent.

Commenting on his departure, team director, Paul Farbrace, said: “I would like to thank Phil for the contribution that he has made. He wants to stay in the game so we wish him well and hope that he is successful in his future career.”
