Dickson impresses in US T20 Open

Sean Dickson is honing his T20 skills in the US T20 Open in Florida this month.

The 26-year-old is playing North Carolina side US Tigers alongside Somerset all-rounder Roelof van der Merwe and West Indian T20 star Rayad Emrit.

He won Man of the Match against Washington on Wednesday with a blistering 61 off 39 balls which included five fours and three sixes.

Dickson won the Spitfire Fielder of the Year last month and has yet to play a senior T20 match for Kent Spitfires.

West Indies all rounder Keiron Pollard is playing for the California Bears as their marquee player and will come up against international teammates Sunil Narine, Samuel Badree and Evin Lewis.

Pakistan’s Sohail Tanveer is also in the mix, as well as United States fast bowler Muhammad Ali Khan.
