England have called up Kent quickie Amjad Khan and Essex all-rounder Ravi Bopara as cover for the injured Andrew Flintoff in the West Indies.
Khan and Bopara had been with the England Lions squad in New Zealand but will now travel to the Caribbean.
Flintoff has been struggling with a hip problem during the current Test in Antigua and will undergo a scan tomorrow.
The uncapped Khan, 28, who was born in Denmark, was called up to the England squad in India before Christmas, when he replaced the injured Ryan Sidebottom.
Kent Professional Cricket Manager Simon Willis was delighted with Khan“s call-up. He added: “This is great news for both Amjad and for the Club.
"He has looked really sharp in the nets and is in great shape. He deserves his call up and I’m confident he will do well if he gets his chance".
