Joe Denly takes three wickets for Brothers Union

Kent batsman Joe Denly showed his versatility again for Brothers Union with a fine six-over spell against Abahani Limited in the Dhaka Premier League.

The Canterbury-born cricketer took three wickets for 19 runs against high-flying Abahani in Fatullah after fog reduced the match to 42 overs-a-side.

The 28-year-old impressed with the ball as his leg spin took key middle order wickets and restricted the hosts to 191 for nine.

In reply, Brothers Union lost regular wickets with Joe Denly falling to slow left armer Saqlain Sajib for 19 off 40 balls.

The visitors were all out for 122 and lost by 69 runs.
