Jones to open Sports Hall

KENT and former England wicket keeper, Geraint Jones (pictured), is set to open a sports hall and artificial pitch today at Maplesden Noakes School in Maidstone.

The community sports facilities were paid for by a Football Foundation grant of over £700,000.

The artificial will be used for hockey and football by schools across the Maidstone Borough and the sports hall, designed specifically for cricket, will be used by the Maidstone Cricket Academy.
