Kent County Cricket Club confirm signing of Charlie Hartley and Matt Hunn

Kent County Cricket Club today confirmed the signing of two talented young fast bowlers for the 2014 season, Charlie Hartley and Matt Hunn (pictured).

Charlie Hartley is a right arm swing bowler who has represented Kent at second eleven level during 2013. Charlie attended Millfield School, along with other recent Kent signings, including Daniel Bell-Drummond and Calum Haggett.

Matt Hunn is a 19 year old pace bowler from Ipswich, who has gained experience in the Essex second eleven team, as well as Suffolk age group squads, with great success. Hunn joined Kent second eleven earlier this season following recommendation from Bob Flack at Suffolk and is likely to make his Kent first team debut this week against Lancashire.

Both players have impressed Kent Cricket High Performance Director Simon Willis this season and he commented on the signings; “Both of these young players have impressed at second team level this season – showing a great desire as well as having the ability to take wickets on a regular basis.”
