Kent Cricket Heritage Trust receives new donation

Anne Walters, daughter of late Kent life member and Supporters' Club stalwart Bill Webb, presented a number of her father's signed cricket bats to the Kent Cricket Heritage Trust last week.

Mrs Waltersmet several former Kent Cricket stars atthe Kent v Surrey NatWest T20 Blast match at The County Ground, Beckenham on Friday 29 May.

Anne's generous donation also included several Kent cricket books which will be added to the Trust's collection of artefacts.

Kent Heritage Trust chairman Jo Rice said: "This very kind donation by Anne in memory of her late father is very much appreciated by the Trust and all at the club. Now all we need to do is acquire more display cabinets to house the bats in!"
