Kent Cricket plan Fireworks Extravaganza with Blean Village Londis

The 2012 cricket season may have come to a close, but we have some more explosive family entertainment planned at the St Lawrence Ground withour Blean Village Londis Fireworks Extravaganza.

We havepulled out all the stops ahead ofour annual Fireworks Extravaganza, which will feature a fire show, stilt walkers and glow acts for the first time, and takes place on Friday 2nd November.

Last year’s event was a resounding success, with 3,000 spectators coming through the gates, and we are keen to make this year’s event even bigger and better.

Earlier this week, we confirmed a funfair for the event, along with live music, with a performance from cover band ‘The Chaps’. Stunning choreography from Da Vinci Dance Troupe will also feature during the evening, along with an eagerly anticipated fire show, which will include stilt walkers and glow acts.

Refreshments and glow merchandise will be available to purchase on the night, along with free children’s face painting. Gates open at 6pm, with the firework display scheduled to start at 8.30pm.

Kent Cricket Chief Executive Officer, Jamie Clifford commented; “Our Blean Village Londis Fireworks Extravaganza has become a great night for all the family. It will be hard to match last year’s event, but we have booked some exciting acts for an added bit of sparkle in the lead up to the fireworks. I once, again hope that this will be a great evening for everyone in Canterbury.”

Tickets for the Fireworks Extravaganza are on sale now, with generous discounts available for pre-purchase tickets. Tickets are priced at £6 for adults (£8 on the night) and £3 for juniors (£4 on the night). A family ticket is also available for £15 (two adults and two juniors, £20 on the night).
