Kent Pre-season fixture 28 March

Coach Paul Farbrace has named his first team of the year to contest a pre-season fixture against Lancashire, in Beckenham today. The match is a friendly, with both teams agreeing to modified rules and have in fact put in place two practice fixtures over the three days allocated to the match.
Initially the Counties will contest a two day match with Kent batting for 60 overs and bowling 30 in day one. On the second day Kent will start with 30 overs of batting and end proceedings with 60 overs of bowling.

Play is scheduled to start at 11am with the first session ending at 1pm, lunch 1pm – 1.40pm, afternoon session, 1.40pm – 3.40pm and the final session of the day from 4.00pm – 6.00.pm.
On Wednesday the two teams will contest a 40 over match with plan scheduled for a 10.30am start, depending on the amount of dew on the ground.
