Kent Reliance becomes new Kent Cricket Academy programme sponsor

Kent Reliance has been announced as the new partner for the Kent Cricket Academy. This new partnership will enable the Kent Cricket Academy to continue producing top cricketing talent from the county.

High performance manager Jason Weaver oversees the programme and believes Kent Reliance can help the Academy go from strength to strength.

Weaver said: “The partnership will allow us to invest further in providing a wider range of opportunities and experiences for the Academy scholars. This will no doubt make a significant impact to their overall development.

“It’s great to havethe renowned Kentish institution, Kent Reliance, involved with our club which has always taken pride in developing homegrown talent.”

“As a company committed to supporting the local Kent community, the summer game is an important part of the county’s culture and we look forward to seeing the Academy cricketers competing and representing the county in many upcoming tournaments.”

Kent Cricket Academy, based at the club’s headquarters at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence in Canterbury has nurtured six England internationals among 26 players who have progressed to professional cricket since it was established in 2003.

Joe Denly, Tammy Beaumont, Lydia Greenway and Sam Billings have represented England after learning their trade at the Academy.

Kent Reliance is already the major sponsor of Kent Disability Cricket and supports the visually impaired, learning and physical disability teams competing in regional and national competitions.
