Kent 142-5 (19.2 overs) beat Glamorgan 138-6 (20 overs) by five wickets

Glamorgan won the toss and elected to bat. The Dragons posted 138 for 6, with Alviro Peterson making 33 from 23 balls.

Kent's response got off to an unfortunate start when Joe Denly lost his footing and trod on leg stump, dislodging a bail to fall to Simon Jones for eight.

As Kentreached 88 for 5 in the 14th over, the game appeared to be slipping away, but Sam Northeast's 39 from 25 balls and Geraint Jones' 30 from 22 saw Kent reach 142 for 5, with just four balls to spare.

A crucial win for Kent Spitfires, which sees them move up the South Group table. On Wednesday the Spitfires face Gloucestershire Gladiators in Bristol, before returning to the St Lawrence Groundfor their floodlit match against Sussex Sharks on Friday 8th July.
