There will be at least one change in the Spitfires attack with on-loan seamer James Harris recalled by Middlesex.

Paceman Matt Coles returns after a chest infection and Calum Haggett (pictured above) is added to the squad that lost in a high-scoring match against Somerset on Tuesday.

Kent assistant coach Jason Gillespie said: “We need to adapt quicker to situations. We talked about the first 10-15 overs at Taunton being key and we didn’t adapt quick enough to the conditions.

“They scored a lot of runs off the front foot and we bowled a fraction wide so that’s something we’ll work on to adjust our lines and lengths.

“The lads will just fine-tune their skills as we did a lot of good things and unfortunately we didn’t come out on top.”
