Kent to play Surrey in pre-season friendly at The Spitfire Ground

Kent will finish their pre-season programme with a two-day friendly against oldest rivals Surrey at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence starting on Sunday 2 April.

Both sides will use the fixture to prepare for the start of the Specsavers County Championship on Friday 7 April at 11am.

Kent will head to the Caribbean on the FGS Plant Tour next month to take part in the West Indies Regional Super50 tournament.

The players will return for pre-season training in March before a three-day match against Leeds-Bradford MCCU on Tuesday 28 March.
