Kent trio up to the ‘tache for Movember

Kent cricketers Sean Dickson, Adam Rouse and Ivan Thomas are growing moustaches to raise money and awareness for men’s health charities as part of the national Movember campaign.

The trio will be growing their facial furniture as they return to pre-season training in aid of mental health awareness as well as prostate and testicular cancer research.

Dickson said: “We’ve wanted to do something for charity for a while and this seemed like a good starting point.

“It’s a real struggle for me to grow a moustache so cancer research is a great cause.”

Rouse said: “I normally have a beard so I’ve gone for the handlebars like a pilot in our honour of our sponsors Spitfire.

“Mental health and suicide prevention awareness is really important, especially in sport and cricket.”

Ivan Thomas, who is out in South Africa training with Allan Donald, has adopted the horseshoe look sported by former Australian paceman Merv Hughes.
