Men’s First Team

Kent wicketkeeper Sam Billings returns from England international duty to take the gloves for Kent in the tour match against Australia at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.

A packed Canterbury crowd is expected for the first-class fixture, the opening match of the 2015 Ashes tour.

Kent will be without all-rounder Darren Stevens (knee) and Matt Coles (back) who are both nursing injuries.

Fast bowler David Griffiths’ back injury will require surgery and he will be sidelined for the rest of the season.

For the tourists, both captain Michael Clarke and vice-captain Steve Smith feature.
