Kent v Oxford MCCU (Sun, 11am)

Joe Denly will lead Kent in their opening first class match of 2018 against Oxford MCCU at The Spitfire Ground on Sunday (1 April), weather permitting.

The 2017 player of the year will deputise for Sam Billings who is away playing in the Indian Premier League with Adam Rouse taking the gloves.

Daniel Bell-Drummond is rested after the MCC Champion County match in Barbados and Mitch Claydon (hand), Calum Haggett (elbow) and James Tredwell (foot) are ruled out.

Bell-Drummond and new signings Heino Kuhn and Matt Henry are set to join the Kent squad next week ahead of the Specsavers County Championship opener against Gloucestershire on Friday 13 April (11am).

Entry to all three matchdays against Oxford MCCU are free of charge with parking available at the ground.

Weather permitting, the Shop will be open and the Lime Tree Cafe will be serving refreshments, snacks and sandwiches but the other bars at the ground will be closed.
