Kent have named a 13-man squad for Friday’s Specsavers County Championship match against Sussex at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence.

After a six-wicket win at Glamorgan last week, Kent will be aiming for their third successive win in the County Championship this weekend.

Batsman Alex Blake and bowling all-rounder Calum Haggett are recalled to the squad with no place for Will Gidman and bowlers Mitch Claydon (hand) and James Tredwell (shoulder) are still sidelined through injury.

Paceman Grant Stewart is stepping up his recovery from a hamstring injury in the Second XI Championship this week.

Gates open at 10am. Parking available at New Dover Road Park and Ride (CT1 3EJ) for £3.50 per vehicle.
