What are your family ties to cricket?

Grandfather played cricket and has been a life long Kent supporter. Father played some cricket and loves to watch it.

What have been the highlights of your career so far?

Receiving my professional contract at Kent. Taking my first first Class wicket and taking the wicket of Jonathan Trott in a MCCU first class game.

Who’s the best player in county cricket at the moment?

Darren Stevens

Which up-and-coming players on the county circuit should we keep an eye out for in 2015?

Ben Duckett, Saif Zaib, Tom Abell

What is your most marked characteristic?

Highly competitive no matter what the task.

Do you have any cricketing superstitions?

Don't like touching the popping crease when walking back to my mark. Bat wearing a jumper

Who were/are your cricketing heroes, and why?

Freddie Flintoff. I loved the way he played cricket and that he was so pumped/aggresive during playing. James Anderson for his pure skill when bowling and his ability to set up batsmen so easily.

Who are your heroes outside of cricket, and why?

My Dad. He had very little when he was younger, didn't go to university but worked extremely hard to get where he is now and has done very well for himself.

If you could change one rule in cricket, what would it be, and why?

Decision review system. When a bowl is shown to be hitting the stumps, no matter what decision the umpire has made, it should be given out.

Can you give us a coaching tip (batting, bowling, keeping or fielding) that has helped your cricket?

When bowling, the load up arm should be straight at the side of the body with the wrist behind the ball.

What would you be doing if you weren’t a cricketer?

I would be at university studying economics in the aim of getting a job in the City.

If you could be someone else for one day, who would you be?

Dan Bilzerian, he seems to be living a decent life from day to day.

What would your desert island disc be (one album or song)?

Now That's What I Call Feel Good. Huge range of music, modern and old.

What’s your favourite/least favourite television programme?

Breaking Bad is my favourite. Loose Women is the worst.

What are your greatest accomplishments outside of cricket?

Winning a scholarship to Millfield School.

What's your pet hate, and why?

People not saying thank you for when you hold a door open or let them through in a car. It's just so annoyingly rude.

Can you tell us a surprising fact about yourself that your county’s fans wouldn’t know?

I lived in Singapore for three years between the ages of 10 to 13.

Please give us your Fantasy Slip Cordon – choose absolutely anyone (dead or alive; fictional or real) you’d like to spend a day in the field with and explain why…

Keeper: Jack Whitehall, 1st Slip: Michael McCintyre, 2nd Slip: Myself, 3rd Slip: Taylor Swift, Gully: James Corden. They could keep me entertained with banter and music all day. And the bonus of Taylor Swift who is extremely good looking.
