Match Highlights from the BBC: Kent v Sussex, Yorkshire Bank 40

History was made last night, when Kent Spitfires chased down 337 to beat Sussex Sharks under floodlights at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence. Never before in the history of the game has a side chased down such a score to win a forty over match.

Darren Stevens hit the fastest hundred of the county season from 44 balls to outshine Sussex's Luke Wright and pilot the Spitfires to the remarkable three-wicket Yorkshire Bank 40 win over Sussex.

Kent got home in a tense finish just before 10.30pm to complete a stunning chase with nine balls to spare.

Stevens contributed a blisteing 53-ball innings of 118, Rob Key chipped in with 52 and Sam Northeast all but saw the Spitfires home with a maiden one-day century off 90 balls.
