NatWest CricketForce is coming to a club near you!

Cricket clubs across Kent have started gathering to get their grounds and clubhouses ready for play this summer.

NatWest Cricket Force provide funds and tools to support clubs with maintenance, improvement and repairs to facilities ahead of the new campaign.

Margate Cricket Club (pictured above) started last weekend with more than 50 volunteers, including many of the club's thriving youth section, clearing the ground, repairing the clubhouse roof, sorting equipment and panting buildings in readiness for the 2015 season.

Neil Canham from NatWest presented club chairman Chris Carter with a cheque for £250, a vital lifeline for many clubs ran by hard-working volunteers.

Club projects have ranged from simple paint jobs and sight screen scrubbing to brand new changing rooms, function rooms and even a new pavilion full stop. Whatever the project you have planned, it’ll be right for NatWest CricketForce.

Nationwide, more than 2.000 clubs have already registered to take part in the annual three-day event on March 27, 28 and 29 which will see their facilities rejuvenated and prepared ahead of the new season.

To register your club for NatWest CricketForce you need to be a registered Play-Cricket user and have the CricketForce role in your club’s Play-Cricket site.
