KENT Academy all-rounder Chris Piesley played a key role as London & East U17“s finished third at the ECB Regional Festival. The event, at the National Cricket Performance Centre in Loughborough, was won by South & West who beat London & East in the key fixture by five wickets. In that game, Piesley, opening the innings, scored 29 including four boundaries and a towering six.

Commenting on Piesley“s contribution, Kent Academy Director, Phil Relf, said: “It was great experience for Chris to play in a good competition like this. Unfortunately London & East didn“t win the tournament but I“m sure he will remember this experience and I“m confident that it will help him on his continued cricket journey.”
