Promising Kent Players selected for London & East Under 17 Squad

Four Kent Cricket Academy scholars have been selected for the London and East Region squads for the Under 17 Super 4 Competition. Three, Hugh Bernard, Piers Richardson and Ryan Davies were also included last year, their age making them still eligible. They are joined by Ranjit Singh.

Commenting on the selection Kent Cricket High Performance Director Simon Willis noted that, ‘this is an outstanding achievement by the boys and a great endorsement for the Kent Academy. To have four of the 14 players coming from Kent, in a squad representing London and the South East, is quite an achievement.’

Hosted at ECB National Performance Centre, Loughborough, the Tournament brings together the best young players in England. The four teams; London and East, South and West, Midlands and the North play in a similar competition to the Bunbury Festival, but at under 17s level.
