Rouse wins Supporters Club award

Kent wicketkeeper Adam Rouse has been named Uncapped Player of the Year for 2017 by the Kent County Cricket Supporters Club.

The 25-year-old received the prize from former Kent and West Indies all-rounder John Shepherd, president of the Supporters Club at their Christmas lunch.

Rouse joined Kent in January 2016 and signed a contract extension in April 2017 after cementing a regular place in the Specsavers County Championship squad.

He has scored four first-class half-centuries (including a best of 95 not out) and a one-day 50 on the 2017 FGS Plant Tour.
