Saara Aalto to support Steps & Blue

X Factor and Eurovision star Saara Aalto will join Steps and Blue at their Spitfire Ground concert on Saturday 9 June.

The Finnish pop princess will be performing as a special guest, joining the previously announced boy band Blue on the line-up.

Saara said: “I cannot wait to be back in front of British audiences again. The UK really embraced me and my style! To be performing alongside Steps in stadiums up and down the country is a dream come true after my X Factor experience.”

Bookies’ favourite to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, Saara will be on the tour from May following the launch of her debut international single in March, which will also serve as Finland’s entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.

Saara has been working with internationally acclaimed songwriters and producers, including Xenomania (Girls Aloud, Little Mix, Cher) Biffco (Kylie Minogue, Spice Girls) Laconic/Tom Aspaul (Snakehips, AlunaGeorge, Kylie Minogue) and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

World-renowned creative director Brian Friedman, the creative genius behind X Factor, Britney, Cher & Beyonce, will oversee the production with an unprecedented one in four Finns expected to tune in!

The tracks ‘Monsters’, ‘Domino’ & ‘Queens’ have already been released in Europe to huge iTunes success hitting Number One in Finland, Top 10 in Sweden & the charts of Norway & Netherlands.

The past year has been an absolute whirlwind for Saara which has seen her become an X Factor Finland judge, release her debut book ‘No Fear’ and now touring with Steps.

The GRANDSLAM 2018: SUMMER OF STEPS TOUR with special guests Blue and Saara Aalto will include a performance at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, Canterbury on Saturday 9 June 2018. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
