Second XI Championship v Hampshire at Polo Farm

On-loan batsman Joe Weatherley will lead the Kent second XI against his parent club Hampshire at Polo Farm in the Second XI Championship on Monday (23 May).

Second XI coach Min Patel has named a 12-man squad with four professionals in the attack supplemented by Sandwich Town’s Grant Stewart.

Zak Crawley is set to open the batting after his first XI debut and Bexley’s Calum Basey takes the gloves as academy scholar Oliver Robinson has travelled to Leicester to cover for Adam Rouse.

All-rounder Adam Ball misses out with a side strain but could return for the Trophy match against the same opponents on Thursday (25 May).

Entry to both fixtures is free.
