Second XI defeat Chris Gayle Academy side at Folkestone

Kent’s second XI continued their fine start to the summer with a 160-run win against a Chris Gayle Academy XI at Folkestone.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Ryan Davies (pictured above, left) smashed an unbeaten 111 from 69 balls as the seconds posted 365 in 50 overs.
Academy batsman Zac Crawley scored 64 in a 128-run stand with Jasper Joyce (92).
Ranjit Singh hit 21 not out in an unbroken 118-run partnership for the seventh wicket.
In reply, 21-year-old seamer Matt Hunn took 3/36 and 22-year-old spinner Imran Qayyum (pictured above, right) claimed 4/41 with a wicket each for Dan Smith and academy scholars Hugh Bernard and Ranjit Singh.
