Squad for Middlesex Panthers Clash Named

Kent coach, Paul Farbrace, has named the same 12, who just missed out on beating the Worcestershire Royals yesterday, for the County’s second round CB40 fixture against Middlesex at Lord’s today. The options have been limited by injuries to some of the regular first team, Simon Cook (thumb), Joe Denly (thumb), Matt Coles (knee) and Robbie Joseph (leg).

The twelve are – Rob Key (c), Sam Northeast, Martin van Jaarsveld, Darren Stevens, Alex Blake, Geraint Jones, Azhar Mahmood, James Tredwell, Adam Ball, Ashley Shaw, Adam Riley and Chris Piesley. It is likely that the same starting 11 as yesterday will start the match with Piesley continuing his role as 12^th man.
