Tickets still available for crucial Ashes warm-up match

With tickets now sold-out for the crucial fifth and final Ashes Test match, you might have thought that you had seen Australia captain Ricky Ponting (pictured)for the last time on a cricket field in England?

Fortunately, that“s not the case. You can still see the Aussie skipper in action this summer at the picturesque setting of the St Lawrence Ground in Canterbury. We are sure you will have a few words of encouragement for the Lions and a bit of jovial banter for the Aussies. It“s the greatest battle of them all, after all!

Tickets are still available for the big Tour match and you can watch the likes of Ponting, Mike Hussey, Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson here in Kent.

It“s free for members and keenly priced for non-members. Come along on either day and it will cost you the following:

£18 for adults
£12 for senior citizens
£6 for juniors

The Ashes series always excites cricket supporters and, with the series so finely poised, Australia are bound to field a strong squad. Tickets are still available in advance and will be sold on both days too. With the Kent Spitfires in action at Twenty20 Finals Day, we will have televisions around the ground so you can keep in touch with both matches."
