Tredwell misses out on Test debut in Bangladesh

Kent’s James Tredwell (pictured, alongside England captain Alastair Cook) has missed out on selection in the first Test between Bangladesh and England in Chittagong. After a good showing in the final warm-up match, many felt that the 28 year-old would earn his place alongside fellow off-spin bowler Graeme Swann.

Former Kent batsman Michael Carberry was handed his England debut alongside Middlesex paceman Steven Finn.
