Kent ACO Umpire Extension Course – Canterbury

This course has been designed as the perfect progression for umpires who have attended the new ECB Umpiring Course as well as for umpires who feel they would benefit from a pre-season refresh of the laws and skills.
With a focus on field craft and match management, the course will help develop a deeper understanding of the key Laws of the Game and, importantly, how to apply them in a match situation.
Along with practical principles of field craft and game management techniques, attendees will also be introduced to the best practices of working as part of a team with colleagues and scorers.
This extension course provides the tools to enable participants to independently umpire matches at the recreational and lower-league level where there are no independent umpires appointed, and is supported by all the leagues within Kent.
This full day course is excellent value at £20.

No refreshments provided.

  • Pre-requisites: Learners must be 14 years of age at the time of the course and have completed ACO Stage 1 or the ECB Umpire Course
