Together with Kent Cricket, they are responsible for advising, supporting and educating umpires and scorers in the county and they extend a very warm welcome to those starting their officiating journeys.

At a national level, the ECB ACO is the organisation with overall responsibility for all cricket officials, and although membership is not a requirement for enrolling on any courses, it is very much encouraged as there are several benefits – not the least of which is comprehensive insurance for all members.
