Kent Cricket’s Remembrance Service

Kent Cricket will mark its annual Remembrance Service at the Colin Blythe Memorial in the St Lawrence Ground, Canterbury on Wednesday 11 November.
The Memorial carries the names of Colin Blythe and of all Kent’s first-class cricketers who died in the conflicts of 1914-1918 and 1939-1945.
This ceremony, to be led by Club Chaplain, Barney de Berry, will be followed by a two minutes’ silence at 11:00am.
All are invited to join Club staff, players and coaches at the Memorial from 10:30am in order for the service to start promptly at 10:50am.
The Oriole Café will be open before and after the service to purchase tea, coffee and other light refreshments.
Parking on-site is available adjacent to the Leslie Ames Stand for those who attend. As well as accessible parking, a small number of chairs will be available for those who are unable to stand through the service.
