Two more dates: your turn to umpire!
One umpire course in Beckenham was a start, but Kent is quite a big place… So we’ve added two more ECB Umpire Courses this winter,…
Welcome to the Kent Association of Cricket Officials (Kent ACO)
Kent ACO works alongside the Kent Cricket Foundation and the ECB to support, develop and advise cricket officials across the county. We extend a warm welcome to those beginning their officiating journey, as well as to experienced umpires and scorers looking to develop further.
If you are interested in becoming an umpire or scorer, or would like to access training and development opportunities, explore the sections below to find the right starting point. You can contact us using the email button on the right-hand side of the page (or at the bottom on a mobile device).
At a national level, ECB ACO operates within the ECB framework and oversees the education, accreditation and development pathway for cricket officials. While ACO membership is not a requirement for enrolling on courses, it is strongly encouraged. Membership provides a range of benefits, including comprehensive insurance cover.
For further details about membership, please click here.
Please note that attending any ECB or ACO course does not confer automatic membership of the ACO. Those wishing to become members must apply separately via the link above.
