About the Kent Regional Development Pathway (KCRDP)
The Kent Regional Development Pathway (KRDP) sits directly below the County Age Group (CAG) Squads. This falls in line with the recommendations outlined in the report by the Independent Commission for Equality in Cricket (ICEC) and the subsequent ECB response in 2023.
The KRDP reports through the performance department, under the guidance of the Head of Talent Pathway. The new Programme aims to extend the Talent Pathway, providing more opportunities for player development before the formal CAG phase begins.
The KRDP focuses on delivering localised programmes, maximising opportunities for players while minimising travel, and adheres to national development frameworks to shape its delivery, encompassing both traditional and non-traditional cricketing environments, with a strong emphasis on providing match-play opportunities for all participants.
Kent Cricket will actively look to find a performance hub in your area that will provide facilities support for the KRDP.
Kent Cricket is delighted to announce that nominations are now open once again for talented young male cricketers in U10-U15 age groups.
This year’s Kent Regional Development Pathway (KRDP) has been a great success, and the Club is committed to continue building on this momentum into its third year.
After receiving a record number of entries in 2025, Kent Cricket is introducing video assessments to its nominations process, allowing adults to nominate young and aspiring cricketers who believe they are of the ability to be a Kent Regional Development Pathway Cricketer.
