Following the Government’s announcement that COVID-19 restrictions are expected to be lifted on Monday 19 July, Kent Cricket is continuing to work with key stakeholders to ensure the safe return of spectators.

The Club continues to develop protocols and recommendations to ensure that its venues are as safe as possible for its players, staff, Members and supporters.

Within the Government update, it was confirmed that close contacts of those who test positive for COVID-19 must continue to undertake a period of self-isolation during the period up until 16 August. This means that the Club’s ‘test and trace’ requirements will remain in place until at least 16 August.

Therefore, the Club’s Men’s Second XI matches will continue to be played behind-closed-doors until further notice.
