Beaumont hits unbeaten 50 in WBBL

Tammy Beaumont hit her second half-century in the Women’s Big Bash League as Adelaide Strikers bowed out at the group stage.
The Kent and England opener hit five boundaries as she top-scored with 50 not out off 42 balls in the first of a double-header against Brisbane Heat at The Gabba.
Brisbane Heat chased the target with five overs to spare thanks to Beth Mooney’s 47-ball unbeaten 75.
The Strikers will bow out at the group stage with three wins so far.
