Bell-Drummond: “We’re hungry and ready to prove a point in the Blast”

Kent’s Club Captain Daniel Bell-Drummond has spoken to BBC Radio Kent about the drive that Kent’s players have going into the start of the Vitality Blast.

Speaking after the end of the first round of Vitality County Championship matches, Bell-Drummond said he’s looking forward to the atmosphere of T20 nights at The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, saying “it’s always good playing in front of a home crowd here”.

The right-hander also spoke about how the Spitfires squad is “setup nicely” for the start of T20 season, with the arrival of Australian seamer Xavier Bartlett a “massive addition”, and that it will be “great to have Sam Billings back”, with the aforementioned wicketkeeper-batter the skipper of the Kent Spitfires in T20 competition.
