ALL-ROUNDER Alex Blake (pictured) once again outlined his potential with a brilliant display in Kent’s Second Eleven Championship match against Somerset at Beckenham.

After scoring a personal best of 206 on the opening day, he followed it up with 3-29 with the ball although Kent still have work to do if they are to force the win on a typically good batting track at the County Ground.

After declaring their first-innings on 434-9, Kent then dismissed Somerset for 345. The home side will resume on 37 for no wicket, a lead of 126 over their West Country opponents.
