Canterbury Cricket Week is coming!

The 167th Canterbury Cricket Week starts next Friday with the oldest rivalry at the original English cricket festival at The Spitfire Ground.

The action starts next Friday (20 July) with Kent Spitfires taking on Surrey at Canterbury with our neighbours aiming for revenge for a six-run reverse at The Oval in our opening T20 match of the summer.

Join kmfm’s Laura Crockett and pick up freebies including the 2018 poster and meet the players after the match for photos and autographs.

Past players will be in attendance on Sunday (22 July, 11am) for the Specsavers County Championship match against promotion rivals Leicestershire with the traditional wreath laying for the fallen scheduled for the tea interval on Tuesday.

There will be live jazz music on days 1-3 of the Championship fixture with Kentish real ale flowing throughout the festival.

Cricket Week concludes with a T20 against Sussex Sharks on Friday 27 July at 7pm with kmfm DJ Andy Walker and a firework display at the close of play to mark the end of the festival.

Gates open 2 hours before the start of T20 fixtures and an hour before Championship matchdays. Entry to Vitality Blast matches is included in All Rounder, Life and Spitfire Memberships and is an option for Six Pack holders.
