Club announces new look membership and spectator packages for 2010

Wednesday 2nd December 2009

Kent County Cricket Club has today unveiled its new look membership and spectator packages for 2010.

There is a fresh feel to the season as the structure has been simplified to three competitions. The club return to division one of the LV= County Championship. There is a welcome return of the popular Sunday 40 Over League and there is an increase in fixtures in the Friends Provident Twenty20 Cup – Kent will play eight matches at home.

As a result of these changes, spectator options will increase. Traditional membership of the club will continue to be offered, but the major difference is the creation of the ‘Friend“s of Kent Cricket“ scheme. This allows followers of the team to tailor a package to suit their lifestyle. In addition, for the more casual follower, incentives for early purchase of match tickets will be available.

Commenting, Kent“s acting chief executive officer Jamie Clifford said: “The changes in the playing programme mean the shape of the season takes on a new look. In light of this restructuring, we have spent a considerable amount of time reviewing what we offer to spectators. Whilst maintaining everything that is special about being a member of the club, we now offer the opportunity for spectators to build a package that suits their lifestyle.”
