This week it has been announced that four contracted Kent Cricket players have made themselves available for selection for the 2019 Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
A list of 536 players that will be eligible for draft selection on 22nd May 2019 includes the names of Kent’s Sam Billings, Daniel Bell-Drummond, Sean Dickson and Heino Kuhn.
The tournament starts on the 4th September and the Kent players that have put themselves forward for the upcoming tournament have done so with the sole intention of being available as late call-ups, eligible only after Kent Cricket’s season has finished from Thursday 27th September onwards.
For the avoidance of doubt, and to reassure members and supporters, the players have neither requested, nor have the Club authorised, any absence from Kent Cricket’s campaign during the CPL in September.
The club will be making no further comment on this matter.
