Club to host Teenage Cancer Trust dinner

The Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence will host A Night of Excellence in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust this weekend.

Luke McIntosh hosts the evening which includes a gourmet four-course meal on Saturday (19 March) prepared by top London chefs and entertainment from award-winning performer Toby Peach.

Luke was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 21 and was the recipient of first class care on the Teenage Cancer Trust ward at the Royal Marsden Hospital.

Every day 7 young people aged between 13 and 24 are diagnosed with cancer.

Price £55 per person. Tables of 10 can be booked and discounts will be given for full tables.

All proceeds will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust to help treat young adults affected by cancer.

The event starts at 7pm for 7.30 pm with carriages 1.30am and a dress code of lounge suits and eveningwear in the charity's colours of red, white or blue.
