Our Community Coaches deliver year round providing in and out of school activities to inspire the next generation of young people to say that “Cricket is a game for me.”

In association with Chance to Shine, we deliver in over 150 primary schools across Kent, completely funded so there are no financial barriers to schools receiving the programme. In the last 2 years we have targeted schools that have more than 40% of their pupils accessing Free School Meals, helping to take the programme to those that need it most as well as providing local out of school offers, through Chance to Shine Street cricket, where these opportunities are limited.

As well as the Chance to Shine programme, our Community coaches also help to deliver;

  • Secondary School Girls programmes
  • Teacher CPD
  • Competitions for schools and Clubs
  • Match day activation
  • Events and programmes with the Kent Cricket Community Trust
  • Lords Taverners Super 1’s Hubs and Table Cricket
  • The Area Cricket Programme

The role is full time however part time applications may be considered- please contact us to discuss this further.

Candidates should hold an ECB Core Coach qualification (or Level 2 equivalent), applications will be accepted from ECB Foundation Coaches but you will be required to complete the Core Coach course.

Candidates will be required to complete an ECB Enhanced DBS Check.
